How Vacation Mentality Can Improve Your Work

Carol Tice from Making A Living Writing makes a compelling case for vacation living in this week’s blog post.

Her theory is that a “work day” mentality lets you stretch out and fill that 8-hour block you think makes up the work day. But on vacation, you want to finish work as soon as possible so that you can get back to more important things, like swimming or tanning.

As I have a bit more freedom to set my own schedule in the near future, I will be testing these tricks myself. I could always stand to be more efficient.
